Power halt at NTPC

Patna: The state on Thursday received 687MW of power from the central sector against its scheduled allocation of 1,772MW owing to generation coming to halt at four units of National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) at Farakka (unit 2 & 3), Kahalgaon (unit 4) and Talchar (unit 1). nergy minister Bijendra Prasad Yadav took stock of the situation in the state and requested NTPC to take steps to improve power supply in the state from central generating units.
