Wednesday night would definitely be one night the city would not forget in a hurry.
Shefali Alvares, best known for her hit track, Subah hone na de, from the 2011 blockbuster, Desi Boyz, will make music lovers groove to her songs at a programme in Patna New Club on Wednesday. Her video and audio messages inviting one and all to the event have already gone viral on social networking sites.
Shefali told The Telegraph over the phone: “The event is all about passion and fashion. Music makes life large. I will sing some of my peppy numbers. Rest is up to the music lovers and how they keep the evening’s tempo high.”
Few lucky youths, who have grabbed the passes, have planned big for the evening. Kirti Gaurav, an IT professional and a diehard fan of Shefali, said: “What I really like about her are her tattoos and brimming confidence.”
Music aficionados can get passes to the event, along with Shefali’s audio CD with her Bollywood hit numbers.
“Dhating naach (from Phata Poster Nikhla Hero) is one of my favourite tracks by Shefali. I am mesmerised by her tattoos. I really plan to get a tattoo done like hers,” said Snigdha Sharma, a law student.
Like Snigdha, there are many who consider music concerts make life large. “I have already managed to get an invitation card three days back. I can’t miss this golden chance to meet Shefali. I have cancelled all my appointments on Wednesday. I will wear a black dress with neutral sky-high heels,” said Soujanya, an entrepreneur.
