BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi on Monday accused the Congress and the JD(U) of spreading a canard against the Gujarat government on the basis of a comptroller and auditor general report on malnutrition.

He said the rate of malnutrition in Gujarat had come down from 70 per cent in 2006-07 to 34 per cent in 2010-11. “This figure came down to 25 per cent in March 2013,” he said.
