Patna, Feb. 20: The state police headquarters today transferred two superintendents of police (SP), three assistant superintendents of police (ASP), 23 deputy superintendents of police (DSP). Seventeen inspectors were promoted to the rank of deputy superintendent of police.

Kapileshwar Manjhi, SP (state crime record bureau), has taken charge as SP (weaker section) CID. Miss Kim, ASP (headquarters), Bhagalpur, has been transferred to the post of ASP (town), Bhagalpur. Nawada ASP Satyaveer Singh has taken charge as ASP (Sachiwalaya) and West Muzaffarpur ASP Vikash Berman has taken charge as ASP (town) Muzaffarpur. Rajiv Ranjan has been made commandant of the Bihar Military Police-12 in Saharsa. Patna, DSP (town) Sheela Irani has been transferred as DSP (headquarters), Bhagalpur.

Ramakant Prasad, inspector of Government Railway Police is now DSP (town). DSP (Sachivalaya) Rajesh Kumar has been transferred as DSP (special branch), chief minister’s security. DSP (special branch) Sushil Kumar has been transferred as DSP (Patna City).
