Patna, Aug. 18: Police today ruled out any love angle behind the suicide of 22-year-old Ashubala, while her relatives said the victim was homesick.

An officer of Kadamkuan police station said: “The body of Ashubala was handed over to her relatives after post-mortem. The police do not think she committed suicide after a love story went wrong.”

The family members of the deceased took her body away for the last rites. “The shocked relatives said she never wanted to go away from home,” the officer said. Hailing from Katihar district, she was a student of Patna Excellent Coaching Centre in Rajendra Nagar.
