Chhapra, Feb. 22: Cashier of Piprasi block, Ravi Rai (35), who was found in an unconscious state from a field early this morning died during treatment at a hospital on Wednesday.

The residents are shocked over the incident, giving rise to speculation over the mysterious death of Rai.

According to sources, the cashier was found lying unconscious in the field from where he was taken to the hospital but died during treatment.

A few years ago, he was appointed on compassionate ground after his father’s death, who was also an employee of the same block.
