ALL THAT GLITTERS HERE IS GOLD
Shashi Panja, the Bengal minister of women and child and social welfare, admires a neckpiece after inaugurating Sonar Sansar 2015, organised by KNC Services and Swarna Shilpa Bachao Committee, at Netaji Indoor Stadium on Friday. Fifty-five jewellery retail houses, including Senco Gold and Diamonds, B.C. Sen Jewellers, Guinea Emporium and Indian Gem & Jewellery Creation, have come under one roof for the four-day exhibition. "They say all that glitters is not gold, but it is nice to see that all that is glittering here is gold. Gold is an asset and offers security to households," Panja said.
