The series Bohemian Ghora, which is streaming on Hoichoi now, is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Amitabh Reza Chowdhury and headlined by powerhouse performer Mosharraf Karim. The series revolves around a charismatic yet complicated truck driver named Abbas, who has secretly married seven women across different districts, each unaware of the others’ existence. The only person who knows the full story is Abbas’s loyal truck helper, Selim. But everything changes after Abbas marries his eighth wife. That decision brings a storm of misfortune, forcing him into situations that question his identity, morality, and fate.

The series features an ensemble cast of acclaimed actors portraying Abbas’s wives, including Runa Khan, Moushumi Hamid, Sadia Ayman, Tanzika Amin, Robena Reza Jui, Farhana Hamid, Aditi, and Brishti. Each actress brings a unique flavour, emotion, and backstory to their character, making Bohemian Ghora a rich narrative tapestry of relationships and hidden truths.

From Mohanagar’s OC Harun to Mobaraknama’s Mobarak, Mosharraf Karim has previously delivered some of Hoichoi’s most iconic performances. With Bohemian Ghora, his role as Abbas surprises audiences yet again. “We’ve done our work with honesty and heart,” says Karim.

Runa Khan plays Ambia, a fiery and confident woman, while Tanzika Amin steps into a role that’s the complete opposite of her real-life personality. Moushumi Hamid takes on the part of a honey collector; Sadia Ayman brings energy and charm as a spirited young woman; and Jui appears in a never-before-seen avatar. Farhana Hamid’s character is quiet yet deeply emotional and composed — someone who leaves a lasting impact. Aditi and Brishti mark their debut through this series. The supporting cast includes Rakib Hossain Emon, Ashok Byapari, Sumon Patwari, Pankaj Majumder, Sayyeda, Shariful, and many more.

“Everyone involved in this series is very dear to me. Abbas is a man of contradictions, effortlessly charming to women but inwardly torn by his own choices. I needed an actor who could transform seamlessly from one emotional state to another, a true method actor. There are only a handful of such performers in our industry, and Mosharraf Karim is certainly one of them,” said Amitabh Reza Chowdhury. Bohemian Ghora blends comedy, mystery, and deeply human stories where laughter hides sorrow, and lies are rooted in love.
