Dhaka: Bangladesh on Wednesday recalled off-spinner Sohag Gazi to their 14-member squad for the two Twenty20 internationals against South Africa next week.

Gazi has not played for Bangladesh since he was suspended from bowling over a flawed action in October last year.

He was cleared to bowl in February after undergoing remedial work but a dip in form meant he did not regain his lost place in the squad.

The 24-year-old will now take the place of injured Mohammed Mahmudullah who is still nursing a finger injury that kept him out of the recent home series against India.
