Calcutta: East Bengal coach Trevor James Morgan has said that his team is taking one game at a time and is not thinking much about winning the I-League title on Friday.

East Bengal play Chennai City FC at the Barasat Stadium on Sunday and are in the middle of an unbeaten run, winning five games on the trot. They are currently at the top of the league standings.

"We will not be looking at our current position while playing Sunday's game and we will be taking this one as just another game.

"It's another three points which we want to try and get. All the games are important for us as we want to be successful," Morgan said.

The East Bengal coach added: "It's not important where we are at the moment, important is where we want to finish at the end.

"The players are working hard to get there, but as I mentioned, the most important thing is about where we want to finish."

Chennai, who are playing in their debut I-League season, haven't made a strong start. But Morgan is not willing to let their guard down.

"You cannot take any team lightly because upsets do happen and Chennai City are doing well. That's why we approach every game in the same way.

"We respect all the oppositions. They have two Brazilian forwards and if you give them time and space, they can hurt you," Morgan said.

In-form East Bengal forward Robin Singh insists they are focused.

"Our focus is on our team not on the opposition and we are preparing for it."

Talking about Morgan, Robin said: "He is one of my favourite coaches and I love working with him on and off the field. Our team is a family, we are one for each other."
