Calcutta: Dilip Doshi will receive the Cricket Association of Bengal's lifetime achievement award this year.
The former India left-arm spinner, who took 114 wickets in 33 Tests, will receive Rs 2 lakh as part of the award.
Doshi's first-class career, during which he played for Bengal and Saurashtra, spanned from 1968-69 to 1986. He took 898 wickets in 238 first-class matches.
Meanwhile, CAB joint secretary Sourav Ganguly confirmed on Tuesday that Pragyan Ojha will turn out for Bengal in the ensuing domestic season.
There was, however, no clarity on coach Ashok Malhotra. While president Jagmohan Dalmiya said he would be given a break, Sourav said a final decision hasn't yet been taken.
