Pune: National champion Pankaj Advani and former world champion C. Praput of Thailand will clash in the final of the Asian billiards championship on Saturday.

While Advani defeated Myanmar?s Kyaw Oo 4-1, Praput prevailed over double Asian Games gold medal winner Ashok Shandilya of India 4-2. Advani displayed superior skills to oust Oo in exactly 90 minutes.

In the other semi-final, Shandilya got off to a great start but Praput came back with consecutive wins in the next two to establish a lead of one game. (PTI)
