Cuttack, Nov. 13: The foundation stone-laying ceremony for the second campus of Ravenshaw University at Naraj has got delayed further.

Though chief minister Naveen Patnaik was scheduled to do the houours on the occasion of the university’s foundation day on November 15, Ravenshaw authorities are yet to receive any official communiqué in this regard.

“As the chief minister will not be available on the day because of prior engagements, the foundation stone laying for second campus has been postponed,” said vice-chancellor B.C. Tripathy.

Tripathy said though the state government was yet to sanction funds for the much-awaited second campus project, all land-related hurdles for the project had been cleared.
