A skylift turns turtle near Baramunda in Bhubaneswar on Monday. Three fire personnel were injured when the fire tender overturned at the fire-training institute. The incident took place while a person was being trained to drive the skylift. A fire official said the vehicle had overturned after the trainee driver slammed the brakes. The injured, including the driver, were rushed to Capital Hospital. The vehicle, which can be used to douse flames in buildings that are 72-metre high, was procured from Finland at a cost of Rs 8 crore a few months ago. The Odisha Fire Service is equipped with two such vehicles. A probe has been ordered into the mishap.
