Cuttack: The Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) on Thursday started selling tickets through affiliated units for the India-Sri Lanka T20 at Barabati Stadium on December 20.
OCA working committee chairman Dhiren Palai said 22,000 tickets were allocated for the public and an equal number would be sold through affiliated units.

During the two days, the allocated tickets will be sold to authorised representatives of the OCA's 33 affiliated units, including district associations, 20 Cuttack-based clubs, 10 schools and five colleges.
The system of sale through affiliated units aims to make the tickets available for cricket buffs in all districts.
The stadium has a capacity of 45,000 and 44,490 tickets, including complimentary passes, were printed this time.
Of the 22,000 tickets that were put on sale, 9,300 were sold online and the rest through counters.
Prices for tickets for galleries 1 and 3 are Rs 600 each, while those for galleries 2 and 4 are Rs 500. The price of tickets for galleries 6 and 7 will cost Rs 400 each. Similarly, tickets for special enclosures are priced at Rs 3,000 while a ticket in the corporate gallery would cost Rs 8,000. The OCA has insured the ground and other properties of Barabati Stadium along with the spectators for Rs 20 crores for the match. "The deal has been inked accordingly with National Insurance Company by paying the required one time premium of around Rs 13 lakh," Palai said.
Giving a break-up of the insurance components, Behera said the stadium had been insured for Rs 8 crore for standard fire and peril policy, while spectators and visitors had been covered under a public liability insurance of Rs 7 crore. The special contingency insurance policy will cover the remaining Rs 6.71 crore, he added.
