Both Dinesh and Krushna, who were into real estate business in the city, were involved in a quarrel recently with Patnaik over the possession of a plot of land.

“As the victim named the two sons of Krushna Nayak in his complaint, we have detained them along with three others who were working with Dinesh Nayak. Some of our teams are searching for the Nayak duo, who we believe are hiding in Calcutta,” said a police officer.

Patnaik, who was admitted in a private hospital in the city was learnt to be recovering from his injuries.
