Congress workers on Wednesday staged a rally (right) near the Assembly in Bhubaneswar in protest against the “undemocratic attitude” of the BJP government at the Centre, which, they claimed, lead to a constitutional crisis in Uttarakhand. They burnt the effigies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah. On the other hand, the state BJP’s peasant wing held a photo exhibition near the Ram Temple Square in Bhubaneswar, where they showed photographs published in various newspapers that represent the farmers’ plight.
