Plus Two second list out

The second cut-off marks list for admission to Plus Two streams in Odisha was announced today.

Bhubaneswar, July 13: The second cut-off marks list for admission to Plus Two streams in Odisha was announced today.

The marks have been uploaded in the higher education department website www.dheodisha.gov.in, said officer in-charge of e-admission in the higher education department Mihir Das.

The Ravenshaw Junior College has the highest cut-off with 90.33 per cent in science stream, followed by BJB Junior College, Bhubaneswar, with 90 per cent.

Selected candidates will have to take admission between July 15 and 17," he said, adding that those selected in the second phase of admission could download their intimation letters from the website.

They have already been informed through e-mail and SMS texts.

It is mandatory for the students who qualified for the second selection to take admission in the respective colleges. Failing which, they would be debarred from taking admission in any other college in this academic session, he said.

The same was applicable to those whose names had features in the first selection list of candidates.

More than 63,000 seats remained vacant in the Plus Two science stream after the first phase of admissions concluded this week.

Of the 3,12,086 students who were issued intimation letters, only 2,48,554 took admission.

This has left 1,82,504 seats in science, Arts and commerce streams vacant.

In the science stream, Of the 1,42,175 seats, only 78,905 seats have been filled up.

In Arts, 2,11,259 of the 2,52,118 have been filled up while in commerce, 21,938 of 47,087 seats have been filled up.
