Bhubaneswar, June 11: A one-stop solution for all your health care needs has come up at health mall, which was inaugurated by chief minister Naveen Patnaik here recently.
You will find here all kinds of medicines, organic food, medical equipment and other day-to-day items relating to your health needs.
Developed over a 5,000 square feet floor area at a strategic location in Jaydev Vihar, the health mall has a lot to offer to the citizens with a range of segments for all age groups including children, youth, men, women, the elderly and differently-abled persons.
Basant Rajotia, one of the proprietors of the health mall, told The Telegraph that the mall is one-of-its-kind in the country. "We have segregated the sections according to the needs of people. A person in search for a very specific item will approach the required section and get it with ease," said Rajotia.
The mall will not only offer a range of medicines from top brands to generic ones, but also gives you the option to get medical equipment for different kinds of diseases, organic food for different kinds of persons and gadgets of all kinds. The mall area also has a separate section where one can buy healthy snacks.
It has segments for dietary supplements, skin care, hair care, pet care, oral care, wellness, women's care and personal care. One of the special segments in the mall is the path lab collection centre where the proprietors have offered pathological solution from the top service providers of the country. Another important segment is the orthopaedic section.
A visitor to the mall, Shyamli Mohanty, said her favourite section at the mall is the orthopaedic section. "My mother suffers from chronic back pain. She was advised to wear the waist belt all the time. I had a difficult time getting the required belt for her, but the product is available here. I love this section and the service here allows me to try it out and then take the product home," said Mohanty, a schoolteacher.
Basant Rajotia developed the mall with three of his friends - Pavan Rajotia, Altaf Ali and Amberina Ali. "Our aim is to provide a one-stop solution to the people of the city. I hope that we succeed in our initiative and people are benefited by it," said Rajotia.
People also lauded the senior citizens' section. "There are a number of malls in the city with specific sections for men, women, children, but none of them has a section for the elderly. The senior citizen section here offers a range of products including mobility solutions, bathing solutions and more. It is a great initiative," said Bishnupriya Padhi, 55, a resident of Nayapalli.
