Kendrapara: Police arrested a middle-aged man for allegedly raping a 25-year-old Dalit woman in Patalipanka village in the Marshaghai police limits. The woman said Jayaram Mallick, 35, had trespassed into her house on Monday night and raped her after tying her up. Bhubaneswar: Police busted a gang of bike thieves and recovered 12 motorcycles from them. The accused were identified as Susant Behera, 21, Kalia Sahu, 18, and Ranjan Pradhan, 18. Bhubaneswar: Police on Tuesday arrested Bankanidhi Nayak, 50, for allegedly killing his wife Manju Nayak, 48, in Paikarapur on the city outskirts within Chandaka police limits. The accused allegedly strangulated the woman on Monday night.
