Berhampur: Fifty-three undertrial prisoners at Berhampur Circle Jail here are on a hunger strike since Wednesday. They are accusing the police of implicating them in false cases. “They have not touched food since since November 21,” said Susant Kumar Rout, the jailor. Sambalpur: At least 10 policemen were injured when a police van overturned at Chikini ghat of Deogarh district. The mishap happened after the driver lost control following a brake failure.
