Bhubaneswar: AICC leader in-charge of Odisha BK Hariprasad on Wednesday blamed internal squabble for the party's debacle in the 2014 general and assembly elections. However, he owned up moral responsibility for the poor performance. “As the AICC in-charge for the state, I take the responsibility for the party’s debacle,” he said. Cuttack: The State Administrative Tribunal (SAT) has ordered the OPSC authorities to publish a fresh merit list of candidates within next two months. The merit list was prepared on the basis of the results of Odisha Administrative Service (OAS)-2011 preliminary examinations. The SAT passed the order following petitions challenging the publication of merit list for the examinations over the award of grace marks. Bhubaneswar: The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has sought an action-taken report from the state government regarding the incidents when expired medicines were administered to patients in the state between 2007 and 2013. According to the CAG report, medicines valued at Rs74,000 were administered to patients in Cuttack, Jajpur, Mayurbhanj and Sundergarh districts during the period.
