Plus Two New course DGP visit NASA prize

Plus Two

Puri: Evaluation of the Plus Two exams conducted by the Odisha Council of Higher Secondary Education will begin from March 28. About 12,500 examiners will be engaged in the exercise at 48 exam centres across the state, said council officials adding that the results will be out by June first week.

New course

Bhubaneswar: Tata Steel Rural Development Society has roped in Taj Group to start a three month course on hospitality and skill development training in Berhampur.

DGP visit

Koraput: Director general of police Prakash Mishra on Wednesday laid emphasis on free and fair polls in the Maoist prone Koraput district. Referring to the Maoists’ call for poll boycott, the DGP said the security personnel had been directed to intensify operation against the left wing ultras to foil their attempt to disrupt the poll process.

NASA prize

Bhubaneswar: Zenith’s Labyrinth, a project by Class VIII students of KIIT International School, bagged the 2nd prize in the Space Settlement Design Contest for students organised by National Space Society of USA in collaboration with NASA.
