Body found

Bhubaneswar: A hotel staffer was found hanging from a roadside lamppost near a posh hotel on Tuesday morning here. Saheed Nagar police seized the body and sent it for post mortem. The deceased has been identified to be as resident of Bihar and was 33-year-old.

Gang-rape

Sundargarh: The Plus II first year student, who was allegedly gang-raped by three seniors on the premises of Badagaon Panchayat College in Sundargarh district, said on Tuesday that the heinous act was recorded by another student. The sub-divisional police officer said that the cops were yet to find the recording.

Chopper landing

Balasore: A chopper made an emergency landing on Tuesday on the road near Machara Chhak in Koraput district. The chopper was on its way to Koraput from Bhubaneswar when the weather deteriorated forcing the pilot to land it on the road. The helicopter has reportedly not suffered any damage.
