Puri:  A youth claiming to be a servitor to Lord Jagannath at the Puri temple has posted selfies taken inside the temple on his social media profile, raising questions on how use of mobile phones were allowed on the premises. Police have begun probe into the incident after the post went viral. While visitors to the temple are not allowed to carry mobile phones, the youth's selfie posts have triggered debates regarding security measures adopted by the personnel posted there. DGP chopper

Balasore: The chopper carrying state director-general of police R.P. Sharma on Tuesday made an emergency landing here due to inclement weather while returning from Kandhamal. Gusty wind accompanied by intermittent showers made the job of the pilot difficult, prompting him to go for emergency landing. 
The Pawan Hans helicopter landed on Gopabandhu High School ground in Begunia.
