Doctors’ protest
Bhubaneswar: Government doctors from across the state have threatened to agitate on Friday in protest against the non-fulfilment of their 11-point charter of demands. The Odisha Medical Service Association, an organisation of government doctors, has given the protest call.

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik released the Odisha Panchayat Samachar weekly news magazine published by the panchayati raj department at the secretariat here on Tuesday.
Rape arrest
Bhadrak: Police forwarded to court on Tuesday a 21-year-old man who had been arrested on rape charges. The accused has been identified Dipak Jena of Karadi village in Dhamnagar.
Legal literacy
Baripada: A legal literacy camp was organised at Rairangpur Women’s College in association with the local legal cell. The programme was conducted in order to make women aware about legal provisions for their security and the procedure to seek relief through laws.
