Suicide note 

Bhubaneswar: A city-based businessman Sanjay Sahoo has been allegedly missing since August 11. However, police have found a suicide note from his residence in Mancheswar. The cops started an investigation after getting a formal complaint from his wife.   

Gold medals

Bhubaneswar: Two cops from Odisha Bonita Lakra and Bighnaraj Miridia won gold medals at World Police Games held in Los Angeles in California. While woman sprinter Bonita clinched gold in 4X400metre relay event, Bighnaraj won gold in men’s 400m race on Sunday. Earlier, Bonita had bagged silver in 100metre race and a bronze in women’s -18-29 - 100metre hurdles.

Kids rescued 

Bhubaneswar:Odisha police rescued six children in the age group of 13-16 years in Mumbai in the second phase of operation Muskan III. The rescued children include five boys and one girl. The boys were brought to Mumbai in the pretext of providing jobs, the girl Sumitra Mallik had been left by her brother at a house in Goa.
