
Bhubaneswar, April 24: The school and mass education department has said results of the annual high school certificate (matriculation) examinations will come out on Wednesday, but no booklet containing the scores will be sold this year.
School and mass education minister Debi Prasad Mishra said: "The results will be announced at the Board of Secondary Education office in Cuttack at 9.30am. Then, it will be available online after two hours."
Results can be accessed on bseodisha.nic.in and bseodisha.ac.in and through short message service (SMS) by typing OR10 Roll No.> and sending it to 5676750.
He said: "Board president Susant Kumar Das today informed the department that the result compilation had reached its final stage. The certificates of successful students will be sent to their respective schools within 10 days of the publication of results."
More than 6.08 lakh students had taken the test at 2,938 centres across the state. Of them, 5.78 lakh were regular students.
This year, the exam began on February 28 and ended on March 10. The answer sheets were evaluated by more than 14,000 teachers in 60 centres across the state.
The results will be published within a record period of 47 days, said board sources. The enrolment of the candidates for the examinations was conducted online for the first time this year.
