Bhubaneswar: Results of the annual matriculation examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, will be declared on May 7.

Board president Jahanara Begum, said: "The results will be announced at 9.30am. It will be available online two hours later." The results will be announced at the board's central office in Cuttack in presence of school and mass education minister Badri Narayan Patra and principal secretary P.K. Mohapatra.

Results of the Madhyama Sanskrit 2018 examination and the State Open School Certificate Examination 2018 will also be announced the same day. The results will be available on the board's two websites - www.bseodisha.ac.in and www.bseodisha.nic.in. As many as 6.8lakh students appeared the examination at 2,818 centres.

In places where there is no Internet facility, students can access their results through short message service (SMS) by typing OR10 roll number> and sending it to 5676750.

"The board has made arrangements to upload OMR answer sheets on the board's website at 2pm on May 7," said examination controller Nihar Ranjan Mohanty.

The board will set up a control room that will operate from the date of announcement of the results for seven days. Students and parents can call up the control room numbers - 0671-2412059 and 0671-2412060 - during office hours from 10am to 5pm for any queries pertaining to the results.
