Play schools have assumed significance in Cuttack like never before. And in this cut-throat competition, the Little Stuart Play School on Mission Road has emerged as one of the most popular schools. Its unique methods of imparting education have made it the number one pick for working parents.

Principal Nishat Ara said the school started with just four students in 2006, but at present, there were over 100 students who were being taught with utmost care and affection in a more homely environment. The school provides basic elementary education from pre-nursery to Class I.

“We have always tried to provide comfort to the children when it comes to teaching. Our method is interactive and fun oriented - the best way to train and nurture young minds,” said Ara.

At Little Stuart, children are taught using models for teaching alphabets, objects to help them understand the shape and sizes of various things used in day-to-day life, differentiating between colours and so on.

Ara said the school was inching towards infusion of modernity in the education system. “The use of modern day tools for education including audio-visual mediums and projectors has made the entire education pattern easier and more convenient,” said the principal.

Similarly, every effort is being made to inculcate leadership qualities among the children besides teaching them general etiquettes, Indian culture and importance of major festivals celebrated in the country.

“We are planning to extend classes up to Class III. Our primary aim is to see that the children get a proper grooming from a young age which would enable them to become leaders of tomorrow,” Ara said.
