Priests offer over 500 different dishes to Lord Jagannath on the occasion of Byanjan Dwadashi in Puri on 
Tuesday. Members of the Gouravihar Ashram in Puri cooked these dishes for the deities using selected ingredients. Preparations for the dishes had begun on Monday. Every year, a few more items are added to the lavish platter. Visitors to the ashram get a share after the dishes are offered to the deities.
