Bhubaneswar: Authorities of the Biju Patnaik International Airport here conducted a full-scale emergency and aircraft crash exercise on the premises on Tuesday.

The exercise involved important stakeholders of the airport and participants from the state administration and disaster management authorities. The aim was to check the preparedness of all responding agencies and the efficacy of established coordination procedures between different agencies to meet the contingencies arising out of a potential aircraft crash at the international airport.
