Bhubaneswar: The online and offline procedures for admission into degree colleges commenced on Monday. While, the last date for online admission is July 4, the deadline for offline admission is July 5. The selection of students will be done in three phases. The first selection list will be announced on July 13 and students will have to take admission between July 15 and 20.

Foreigner dead

Puri: A French national, Christopher Charles, 60, has been found dead in a hotel near the beach here. He arrived in Puri three months ago and was staying in a hotel. The reason for his death has not yet been ascertained.  

Parrikar visit

Bhubaneswar: Union defence minister Manohar Parrikar will visit Odisha on June 26. He is coming to the state to attend Vikas Parv, to be organised by the state wing of the BJP in Cuttack.

Accident

Berhampur: A baby and his uncle were killed and three injured when an ambulance in which they were travelling hit an oil tanker near Khallikote.
