An advisor of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and National Institute of Technology alumni, Indranil Sarkar, urged students to explore their innovative skills.
He was speaking at the three-day National Entrepreneurship Summit, 2016, organised by the entrepreneurship cell of National Institute of Technology, Rourkela. The meet concluded on Sunday evening. "Innovation is the key to future and this will keep you ahead of others," said Sarkar.
Earlier, NIT Rourkela director Sunil Sarangi felicitated the guests. He said a technology innovation, incubation and research (TIIR) centre had been set up to provide a platform to the students for skill development, which would benefit industrial houses in research and technology.
The event witnessed many discussions and interactive sessions aimed to develop an atmosphere and mindset for entrepreneurship among the young minds. Over 150 participants from national institutes such as IIT Khargapur, NIT Kurukshetra, IIIT Bhubaneswar and others took part. Various competitions were also held.
