Bhubaneswar, May 6: The state government has decided to procure 194 vehicles to run the city bus service in Cuttack-Choudwar, Balasore-Bhadrak and Koraput-Jeypore-Sunabeda clusters.

The bus service would be introduced in these three clusters with a funding of Rs 60 crore from the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM).

Under the JNNURM scheme, 125 city buses are already running in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Puri. Two other cities — Berhampur and Sambalpur — have also been included in the scheme.
