Bhubaneswar, Sept. 4: The police have installed two closed-circuit television cameras at two different places near the Assembly.
One of the cameras has been installed on Mahatma Gandhi Marg and the other has been put up at AG Square.
The cameras have been installed to keep a tab on the large number of people gathering outside the Assembly for protests and cars violating traffic norms.
A large number of Congress activists are supposed to gather on Thursday on the road to protest against the state government.
Deputy commissioner of police Nitinjeet Singh said the move was the part of the proposed closed-circuit television camera installation program at various traffic squares and sensitive places in the city.
