Hearse denied

Jajpur: A tribal woman’s corpse was carried by her family members on a rickshaw to her village due to unavailability of any ambulance or hearse. The family members of the deceased, Pana Sirka, were forced to carry the body in a rickshaw as they were not provided with a hearse  or ambulance.

Death probe

Bhubaneswar: The crime branch will begin its second phase of investigation on the death of Paralakhemundi king Gopinath Gajapati Narayan Deo’s former manager Ananga Manjari Patra and her three siblings, who allegedly committed suicide.

Encounter

Berrhampur: Dreaded criminal Jagannath Nayak, 28, of Bhanjanagar in Ganjam district was injured in an
