Cuttack: A special designated court on Tuesday extended the judicial remand of Pravas Chandra Rout, the chairman of Oscar Group of Companies along with four directors accused in a case involving alleged fraud.

Youth killed

Bhubaneswar: A youth was allegedly beaten to death at Kapileswar in Lingaraj police station limits on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Sanjib Kumar Panda. The exact motive of the crime is yet to be ascertained. 

Explosives

Bhubaneswar: Huge amount of explosives were seized by the BSF at Jeypore-Lamtaput Road in Koraput district. Two landmines, 22 detonators and one rifle was seized.  

Missile trial

Balasore: India is likely to conduct the trial of a new missile  from the Chandipur. As a  precautionary measure, defence personnel would evacuate the villagers  near the launch complex.
