Heatwave
Bhubaneswar: Titilagarh recorded 46.5° Celsius on Wednesday. The second highest temperature of 46.2° Celsius was recorded at Sonepur. The Met centre has warned similar weather conditions will continue to prevail till the end of this month.

Bhubaneswar: The admit cards for Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) 2016 were available for download from Wednesday.
MLA house
Bhubaneswar: The Keonjhar district administration will demolish the house of Champua MLA Sanatan Mahakud on April 22. The district administration is taking the step following a directive from high court. In order to maintain law and order, the district administration has also decided to deploy around 25 platoons of police. Mahakud allegedly grabbed five acres and built houses, temple and owned it by making a trust.
No power cut
Bhubaneswar: There will be no power cut in the city till May 20. The decision was taken at a high-level meeting by the government on Wednesday.
New website
Bhubaneswar: The state forest and environment department minister Bikram Keshari Arukha inaugurated a special website of the State Climate Change Cell (www.climatechangecellodisha.org). The website will provide information on climate change and its impact. It will also act as an awareness tool.
