Jagannath temple
Bhubaneswar: All the four entrances of the Puri Jagannath temple will be replaced with new gates, coated with copper. The Archaeological Survey of India has taken the decision following demands by various sections.

Naveen plea
Bhubaneswar: Chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday urged the Centre to include the riverine ports of Mahanadi, petrochemical clusters at Paradip and steel clusters at Kalinganagar in Jajpur to be included under Sagarmala project. He placed the proposal at the second meeting of the National Sagarmala Apex Committee chaired by the Union shipping minister Nitin Gadkari in New Delhi.
JEE Main
Bhubaneswar: Aspiring engineering students, who are looking for admission into top courses, appeared for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main online test conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education on Saturday. Around 6,000 students are writing the exams spread over 18 centres in Odisha.
