Air Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Police on Sunday served a notice to Air Odisha managing director Santosh Pani to depose before them on Wednesday. The decision followed after Sandeep Ray, son of former Union minister and Rourkela legislator Dilip Ray lodged a complaint against the private airline operator demanding the company return 
Rs 40 lakh to him. He has alleged that though he had invested Rs 80 lakh, in the company in 2015, the company had returned only Rs 40 lakh to him.

Train flagged off

Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar-Tirupati-Bhubaneswar Express, with bio-toilets in all 22 coaches, was flagged off on Sunday from the Bhuba-neswar station. Railway officials said the train was a great initiative towards fulfilling the objectives of Swachh Bharat Mission.

Two drown

Kendrapara: Two students drowned in a pond on Sunday while they were taking a bath within Derabishi police limits. The deceased were identified as Maheswar Patra, 13, and Gautama Rana, 13, both students of Class-VII.
