Pending projects

Bhubaneswar: Chief secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi directed the water resources department to finish the incomplete projects first before taking up newer ones. Padhi directed the department to fix realistic targets for each project and accomplish it within schedule. He also asked officials to achieve the target of creation of additional irrigation potential in 10 lakh hectares by 2018-19.   

12 injured

Kendrapara: Around twelve people were injured on Saturday after the bus in which they were travelling collided head-on against a sand-laden truck on Kendrapara-Angulai Road, about 10km from here. Poor visibility due to early morning fog resulted in the mishap, said a police officer.
