Maoist gives in

Rourkela: A woman Maoist surrendered before Bisra police on Wednesday. Sapna Honahoga, 19, who originally hails from Baliva village under Chotanagra sub-division in West Singhbhum district of Jharkhnad, had joined the Maoists in 2011.  

Accident 

Rourkela: Twenty passengers were injured, eight of them seriously, when the bus they were travelling in hit a stationary truck near Mirzapur on NH-5 under Panikoili police station limits in the district late on Tuesday night. The private bus was on its way to Calcutta from Angul, police said.
