Sprinter wins gold

Bhubaneswar: Ace sprinter Srabani Nanda bagged the gold medal in the 200 metres category at the 55th National Inter-State Athletics Championship held in Chennai. Nanda won the gold by clocking 23.92 seconds in the event held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

Bhushan fiasco

Dhenkanal: District medical officer Sangram Kishor Das lodged an FIR against Bhushan Steel for holding a health camp without the permission of the district authorities. The firm had held health camps where the local residents got treatment.

New platform

Berhampur: Union railway minister Suresh Prabhu will formally inaugurate the newly built platform No. 4 
at the station by pressing a remote switch from Bhubaneswar on July 16.
