Dhankanal: BJD leader Nabin Nanda had a narrow escape when two country-made bombs were hurled at his vehicle near Thakurpal village on Monday.
The vehicle, in which Nanda was travelling along with five others including the driver, was damaged.
Nanda's aide Bubuna Panda said the leader's Dhenkanal Swabhiman Surakhya Manch launched Janajagaran Yatra from Monday in Gondia and Dhenkanal blocks. There was a huge procession involving hundreds of bikes and cars. "As soon as it reached near Thakurpal village, two men hurled two bomb's on Nanda's car and fled," said Panda.
