Artists from across India, including luminaries such as Sakti Burman, Ganesh Haloi, Jogen Chowdhury, Veer Munshi, Rajiv Lochan and Nupur Kundu, apart from Anjolie Ela Menon, came together for the workshop.
Hosted by the art gallery Artist Mindz, the four-day workshop will see the artists replicate their imaginations on canvas and allow young artists to get an insight into their individual journeys, their style and interpretations of the society at large.
Menon, one of India's top contemporary artists, said workshops were always fun because it gave artists the opportunity to meet with each other and share their thoughts.
"I had come to Odisha earlier for an art camp and I enjoyed it a lot. Coming back brings back those memories. This state's ancient culture is fascinating for every artist," she said.
The artworks created at the workshop will be on display at the gallery.
