Bhubaneswar, Feb. 6: Four members of a family today died in a road mishap on the National Highway No. 55 at Banarpal of Angul district.

One person was injured in the accident.

The incident took place when the five family members were travelling in a car and returning to their residence at Talamul, around 15km away from Angul after offering prayer at a nearby temple.

A truck hit the car leading to the death of four persons on the spot.

The deceased have been identified as Golapi Sahoo, 70, her elder son Khirod Sahoo, 40, youngest son Pankaj Sahoo, 32, and daughter-in-law Subhashree, 38.
