Guwahati, June 8: Kamrup Academy Higher Secondary School and Ulubari Higher Secondary School registered victories in their respective matches of the 11th Dhan Sena Sinha All-Assam Inter-School Prize-Money Cricket Tournament at Latasil playground here today.

In the first match of the day, Kamrup Academy Higher Secondary School eased past Delhi Public School by seven wickets. Put in to bat, Delhi Public School batsmen were bundled out for 69 runs in 14.5 overs. Pulkit Bajoria and Angajudit Gogoi scored 16 runs each. Azmir Ali was the pick of the bowlers with four wickets.

Kamrup Academy boys got past the target losing three wickets in 8.5 overs. Amar Basfor remained unbeaten on 34 runs, including five hits to the fence. Rituraj Biswas took two wickets conceding 11 runs. Ulubari Higher Secondary School got the better of Assam Jatiya Bidyalay by four wickets in another match.

Assam Jatiya Bidyalay batsmen put up a total of 105 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 15 overs. Hirakjyoti Sarma topscored with 43 runs. Raj Das bagged two wickets conceding 14 runs.

Ulubari Higher Secondary School boys got past the target losing six wickets in 12 overs. Arjun Das remained unbeaten on 48 runs. Debasish Bhagawati bagged three wickets conceding nine runs.
