U-19 Cricket camp

Guwahati: Five Assam cricketers Abu Naschim Ahmed, Krishna Das, Parvez Aziz, Shiv Shankar Roy and Sujoy Tarafdar have been invited to an under-19 coaching camp in the East Zone Cricket Academy in Calcutta from April 14. Swarupam Purkayastha has been named a stand-by for the camp.

 

Nuruddin trophy meet

Guwahati: NF Railway play hosts Nagaon in the four-day final of the Nuruddin Ahmed senior inter-district cricket meet at Nurul Amin Stadium in Nagaon from Thursday. In the semis, the railmen got a first innings lead against Dibrugarh while Nagaon beat Silchar.
