Imphal: Thangmeiband Athletic Union emerged champions of the IWDFA's S. Birendra Singh Memorial Super Division League played at Malom Terakha ground. The last league match saw Thangmeiband Athletic Union beat PHLYO Thangmeiband by a solitary goal from Th. Bidyananda in the 49th minute to top the super division league. Haoreibi North Sporting Club was relegated to first division.

Imphal: LLK Karam drubbed YDC Kiyamgei by 9-2 goals in the second state-level Jannaneta Hijam Irabot Memorial Seven-a-Side Open Football Tournament played at Kiyamgei.

Selection

Imphal: The Manipur Cycle Association will hold an open trial selection of cyclists on Friday at Awa Ching in Imphal East for participation in the 12th senior, junior, sub-junior National Mountain Bike Championship to be held at Pune from October 31 to November 2.
